Learning Supervision for Math and English at SMA Edu Global Medan in Collaboration with Mentari






On February 7, 2025, SMA Edu Global Medan, in collaboration with Mentari, conducted a learning supervision activity for the subjects of Math and English. This activity aimed to enhance teaching quality and provide new insights to teachers on managing an effective and engaging learning process for students.

The main goals of this learning supervision were to:
  1. Enhance Teacher Competence: Provide support and feedback to teachers so that the methods and strategies used can be more effective in creating an engaging learning environment.
  2. Introduce Innovative Teaching Methods: Introduce new and innovative teaching methods that align with modern developments and the needs of today’s students.
  3. Optimize the Learning Process: Ensure students achieve better outcomes, not only academically but also in developing critical thinking skills.
The learning supervision activity involved direct observation of the teaching process in the classroom. Supervisors from Mentari, Mrs Linda Setiawan, observed how teachers managed the class, utilized teaching media, and interacted with students.

Teachers at SMA Edu Global Medan had the opportunity to discuss various challenges faced in teaching Math and English with Mentari’s supervisors. This collaboration also allowed teachers to share experiences and strategies for overcoming common classroom issues. On the other hand, the supervisors provided constructive feedback and offered suggestions that could be implemented to enhance teaching quality. Through this activity, it is hoped that the teachers at SMA Edu Global Medan will be further motivated to innovate and develop their teaching skills.

This learning supervision activity is expected to have a positive and tangible impact, particularly on the teaching of Math and the implementation of the Cambridge Curriculum in English and Math at SMA Edu Global Medan. With Mentari’s support, it is hoped that the learning process at this school will become more effective, producing students who are not only academically proficient but also equipped with the skills needed to face global challenges.
